LABOWI PROMOTONS INVITES YOU TO THE SOLÈY KOUCHÉ 2015 EVENT, AT THE MORNE LEBLANC, LABORIE, 5PM, WEDNESDAY 22 APRIL 2015. IT'S OUR TURN TO LEAD: COLLABORATING, DOING, ADVOCATING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY.

Solèy Kouché first started in 1993. The activity is organized by ECHO-Lab annually on the evening of 22nd April to celebrate Earth Day and create awareness of environmental issues

The Morne Le Blanc Nature Heritage Site was started by ECHO-Lab, the Environmental Conservation and Heritage Organisation of Laborie. It is of both historical and environmental significance to Laborie: it was the site of the Range Station 10, part of the U. S. radar tracking anti-missile system in the 1950s; it is rich in plant biodiversity. The site was started with seed money from a project undertaken by the ABL (Adapting by Learning) Team from York University, Canada in 1992. It is managed and maintained by ECHO-Lab.
